Preparation

  • Room temperature: 24–26 °C
  • Water: 36–37 °C (check with elbow or thermometer)
  • Have towel, clean clothes, diaper, and soft sponge ready
  • Bath duration: 5–10 minutes

Steps

  1. Clean the diaper area before the bath
  2. Until the umbilical cord falls off, prefer sponge baths
  3. Wash gently from head to toe
  4. Use only water at first; add mild soap later
  5. Dry skin folds thoroughly after the bath
